KCRW Graphics

I was tasked with creating graphics for KCRW including logo/artwork for their new show “Welcome to LA”, and illustrations for their mobile app.

”Welcome to LA” was a KCRW show produced and hosted by David Weinberg, himself a new arrival in Los Angeles, which looked at the stories of people who came to the city and live on the margins, trying to make their mark.

Client wanted the graphic to mimic a neon sign that could be seen on Sunset Blvd, something glossy and gritty at the same time, with a view of the LA skyline in the background.
